25 Editions, One Vision: The Story Behind “Gwiazdy Promują”

A master musician and a young artist sharing the same stage. A meeting of experience and emerging talent. This is the vision that has defined the “Gwiazdy Promują” Festival from the very beginning.   The Festival’s name, Gwiazdy Promują (“Stars Supporting Emerging Talent”), is no coincidence.   The Festival was established to provide exceptionally talented young musicians with opportunities to perform alongside acclaimed artists and distinguished teachers. For audiences, this creates a unique experience: the chance to hear established masters and promising performers who may one day grace the world’s leading concert stages — all in a single evening.   Throughout its history, the Festival has welcomed young performers who have subsequently developed successful careers, with some returning years later as accomplished musicians and educators, ready to inspire and support the next generation.   This is the very essence of Gwiazdy Promują.   The Festival is about much more than showcasing young talent. It is about bringing generations together, sharing artistic experience and creating opportunities for emerging musicians to perform on a professional stage alongside artists whose achievements have inspired their own musical journeys.   Following a nine-year hiatus, the Festival returned to the Lower Silesian Philharmonic in 2024. Its 24th edition followed in 2025, and we are now preparing to celebrate another important milestone.   The 25th edition of the “Gwiazdy Promują” National Festival is just around the corner.   Twenty-five editions of remarkable musical encounters, countless artistic stories and successive generations of musicians brought together by a shared passion for music.   The vision remains unchanged:   Established stars champion emerging talent. Young musicians find their place on the concert stage.
